First Solutions, integrated in a group of 7 companies and 100% Portuguese capital, is specialized in Information Systems for the health market.
It develops technological solutions that allow for the optimization of processes, increasing the productivity, efficiency and efficacy of the information generated in real time in the clinical areas of each health institution.
In Portugal, the company is market leader in information systems for the management of clinical services, telemedicine systems and medical imaging, screening management systems, namely for cervical cancer, colon and rectal cancer and diabetic retinopathy and systems to control infections associated with health care.
In 2009, it initiated its internationalization process in Latin America, namely in Brazil, whereby, for the first time, it was present at São Paulo’s Hospital Fair. Following this initial approach and after a study of the Brazilian market, First Solutions do Brasil (FSB) was recently created with the aim of promoting its solutions locally.
This new company, with head offices in São Paulo (in the World Trade Centre “WTC” Building in the Brooklin Novo neighbourhood) and an Office in Belo Horizonte (in the WorkShop Building in the region of Lourdes), will also have commercial structures in other States, namely in Bahia, Mato Grosso do Sul, Pernambuco, Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Norte and in the South of the Country.
First Solutions also intends to establish commercial partnerships with Brazil’s health institutions, boosting the creation of synergies that allow for a stronger ranking of the brand in the country and a more efficient use of resources and know-how on both sides, in the short/medium term.
First Solutions do Brasil will also serve as a platform for other markets in Latin America, namely Ecuador, Chile and Colombia, countries in which a few contacts with commercial potential have already been established.
The company’s first presentation in Brazil will be made at the Feira Hospitalar (from 25 to 28 May), this time with its own stand, making the public a little more aware of First’s universe.
