The 16th International products, services and technology fair for hospitals, laboratories, pharmacies, clinics and consulting rooms – HOSPITALAR 2009, the largest Health Fair in Latin America, took place from 2 to 5 June in S. Paulo, Brazil.

FIRST SOLUTIONS had the privilege of being present at the event, together with its partner for the Brazilian market, SALUX, leading software company in Brazil in the Health sector.

With head offices in Rio Grande do Sul and Minas Gerais, SALUX counts on more than 1.100 customers, 300 employees and 34 sales offices throughout the country.

Its solutions portfolio already includes information systems from FIRST SOLUTIONS, as is the case with telemedicine (SiiTE), Hepic – Hospital Epidemiologic Control and the MultiScreening platform (SiiMA Rastreios), whereby the latter two are innovative solutions in the Brazilian market and those that caused the most impact at the fair.

HOSPITALAR 2009 closed its 16th edition with a total of 86.000 trade visitors (10% more in relation to 2008).  In terms of business volume closed or under negotiation, it reached 1,7 billion Euros, which means an increase of about 7% in relation to the previous year.

FIRST SOLUTIONS, therefore, takes yet another important step in terms of its projection as a company and its technological solutions within the scope of its internationalization process.
